Little Flower Ashram has its origin in the year 2001. The ‘Peniel Village’ was established in 2004 in view of starting several welfare projects for the poor, abandoned and down-trodden in the society, such as home for the mentally and physically challenged, home for the aged, hospice for the terminally ill, etc. A home for the mentally and physically challenged started functioning in July 2005.
St. Therese of the Child Jesus, known as the Little Flower, is the patroness of the Congregation. St. Thomas the Apostle, our father in faith and St. Francis Xavier, the second apostle of India, are our sub-patrons.
